Hey, peeps! I’m so excited to share with you all about my recent trip to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico, courtesy of Southwest Airlines and the Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort. The trip was nothing short of fabulous and I can’t wait to tell you about all the interesting things I experienced there.
The Journey Begins - Southwest Airlines Flight
My journey to Cabo began with Southwest Airlines. I must say that the airline is one of the best I have travelled with and I am not just saying that because I got a free trip, lol. The crew was super friendly, and the experience was enjoyable from beginning to end. We flew directly from Los Angeles to Cabo and the view from the plane was amazing.
Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a Mexican immigration form, which we had to fill out before proceeding to customs. The process was straightforward and hassle-free. A quick check of our bags, and we were out of the airport ready to explore.
The Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort
The Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort was our home away from home for the duration of our trip. The place was simply breathtaking, surrounded by palm trees and the beautiful Sea of Cortez. The resort had everything we could ask for including spacious rooms with ocean views, delicious food, several pools, a spa, and a private beach. The attentive staff made our stay even more pleasant.
Each day was packed with activities including jet skiing, snorkeling, paddleboarding, and a visit to the world-famous El Arco rock. The resort also offers several programs for kids and adults, including learning the traditional Mexican dance, salsa. The nightly entertainment was also top-notch, featuring live music which we enjoyed while sipping on some margaritas. The whole atmosphere was simply electrifying.
Delicious Mexican Cuisine
The food was one of the highlights of my trip. The resort offers several restaurants, each with a unique menu catering to different dietary requirements. My favorite was the El Meson restaurant, which served some of the most delicious Mexican cuisine I have ever tasted. The seafood was fresh, and the guacamole was to die for. The breakfast at the resort was also amazing, with several options of fresh fruits, pastries, and cooked food.
We also had an opportunity to visit the art district in San Jose which offers a blend of Mexican and contemporary art. The district was full of color and rich culture and we had a chance to sample some local Mexican street food which was nothing short of amazing. A must-do for anyone visiting Cabo.
The Final Verdict
Overall, the trip was one of the most memorable trips I have ever taken. Cabo San Lucas is simply mesmerizing and has something for everyone. The hospitality of the Mexican people was amazing and the Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort was nothing short of spectacular. A huge shoutout to Southwest Airlines for making it happen. I can’t wait to go back there someday. If you plan on visiting Cabo, be sure to book your stay at the Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort, you won’t regret it.
That’s all from me folks, hasta la vista baby!
